This unit is for previously incarcerated clients. 

All clients must be income eligible for services up to 200% of the federal guidelines. 

We will be providing representation on Civil matters related to previous incarceration, criminal activity or prior illegal drug use on issues including, but not limited to:

  1.  Employment discrimination;

  2. Section 8 Problems;

  3. Certificates of relief from civil disability/certificates of conduct;

  4. Denial of professional license

  5. Denial of employment due to prior neglect/abuse findings (ALJ).

Additionally, we will be providing assistance in the following areas but only to those clients who have been released from prison NO MORE than 1 year ago from date of contact:

  1.  Housing matters;

  2. Public benefit denials;

  3. Consumer debt issues.
